Job Form Autofiller — Chrome Extension

Effective date: March 15, 2026

Overview

Job Form Autofiller is a Chrome extension that helps you fill out job application forms automatically. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the extension handles and how it is used.

This extension does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All information stays on your device.

Data We Store

The extension stores only the key-value mappings you configure in the Options page (e.g. your name, location, LinkedIn URL). This data is saved using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API, which means:

  • It is stored locally on your device only.
  • It is never sent to any external server or third party.
  • It is never used for advertising, analytics, or any purpose beyond filling in forms.

Permissions Used

The extension requests the following Chrome permissions:

  • activeTab — to access the current tab when you click the extension icon.
  • scripting — to inject the autofill script into the active page.
  • storage — to save your mappings locally via chrome.storage.local.

No browsing history, form data, or page content is ever read beyond what is necessary to identify and fill matching form fields in that moment.

Third-Party Services

This extension does not integrate with or transmit data to any third-party services, analytics platforms, or APIs.

Data Removal

You can delete all stored data at any time by opening the extension's Options page, removing your mappings, and saving. You can also uninstall the extension from Chrome to remove all associated local data immediately.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the new version will be published at this URL with a revised effective date.
